I'm a lifelong Des Moines-area guy, and I've spent more than 13 years helping people buy and sell real estate in the community I'm proud to call home.
I grew up in Waukee, went through Waukee schools, and graduated from Dowling Catholic. Real estate has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandfather, Jerry, started building homes in Des Moines in 1957, and eventually my dad took over the family business. Growing up around construction, homes, and the real estate business gave me an appreciation for the industry long before I ever started selling homes myself.
Today, I love that my career allows me to combine that background with the opportunity to work with people and help them navigate some of the biggest decisions they'll make. After 13+ years in the business, I've learned that real estate is about a lot more than houses—it's about neighborhoods, relationships, and helping people find the right place for the next chapter of their lives.

Beyond real estate
Life outside the office
Outside of real estate, I'm usually doing something that keeps me moving. I'm an avid golfer and cyclist and have ridden in more than a dozen RAGBRAIs. I also love baking bread, spending time with family, traveling, and making the most of Iowa summers—especially a trip to the Iowa State Fair.
I met my wife, Amanda, at Exile Brewing, and we've been married for four years. Amanda is originally from Sioux City, so we spend plenty of time there with her family at their cabin. If you happen to find us up there, there's a pretty good chance a Charlie Boy and a schooner at The Miles Inn are involved.
I'm also passionate about the Des Moines community beyond real estate. I serve on the board of the Italian Cultural Center of Iowa, and I love exploring the local restaurants, events, and places that make this city such a great place to live. Some of my favorites include the Des Moines Arts Festival, Lucca, Aposto, Taste of Italy, Guest House, Wasabi and Eatery A.
At the end of the day, I feel pretty lucky to call Des Moines home—and even luckier that my career allows me to help other people call it home, too.
